Dutch Braids Galore

My sweet little Micronesian friends had Dutch braids today, and so did I! One braid, two braids, three braids~ all together for hair pictures :-)

Micronesian Girl~ Braiding a friend's hair in a spiral braid
Hello from the islands,
I have a special set of pictures to share from my Micronesian friends. Mackilo braided Dravleen's hair in a beautiful spiral braid. How lovely to see this braid appear before my very eyes.
This is basically a lace Dutch braid. Mackilo started the braid in the middle of Dravleen's head, then walked around her and continued to braid in a spiraling circle until all of Dravleen's hair was incorporated into the braid. Dravleen's baby girl makes a special appearance in our pictures, such a sweetheart. How cute to see her waiting while mommy gets her hair done <3

My two friends had such beautiful hairstyles yesterday, I wanted to share them with my other friends around the world. The first is an amazing hippie braided headband combined with an incredibly thick ponytail. The next one is a circle Dutch braid, on hair that is around knee length which makes this hairstyle even more impressive. Thank you for coming to see our pictures!
