Flower Basket Updo

Hello everyone,

This morning was so lovely I went out around 6:30am to take hair pictures.  A friend commented on another post and asked who helps me take pictures.  My mother used to take them for me, but now I use my phone to make a video then take screenshots.
To make this updo, I made three low buns - one at a time - and held them in place with small hair clips.  They were my basket.  Then I added flower clips along the top~ so a Flower Basket Updo it was :-)

Fresh start on a new day~ a big bun made with still-damp hair

Hi friends,

Green is such an alive color :-)  Everything seems fresh and new when the background is green and your hair is still damp from washing it that morning.  To make this hairstyle I started by twisting small sections of my hair and clipping them in place with my favorite little hair clips.  I kept twisting and clipping until I was satisfied with my wet-hair high bun.

Lacey Updo

Hello friends,

I hope you are having a beautiful day. I love creating a hairstyle like this one with lace braids and a side bun~ this look is easy to make and still very pretty. For my hairstyle yesterday I made four lace braids and a side braided bun.
Thank you for all the views here and on Facebook! How fun to stay connected with friends from around the world.

Crochet Mohawk Braid

Hello friends,

A few weeks ago I experimented with a different kind of Mohawk braid. This braid is actually a French loop braid, but it reminds me of the finger crochet braids that I've done before. A nice twist to a normal French braid Mohawk :-)
